David LarsenDavid is the former Director of the award winning Organizational Health Center, at Hill Air Force Base – the largest employer in the state of Utah. He was a Master Trainer for the Maintain Your Brain® program developed by the Alzheimer’s Association, and Neil Nedley, M.D.’s Depression Recovery Workshop. He is also a popular teacher of continuing education classes for Health Eduction Network of Wisconsin – now PESI.  He is also an independent professional education instructor. He is the author of 4 books on learning techniques and memory, and writes a quarterly Review of Research on Brain Health issues for subscribers. He has a double Master’s degree in Family & Human Development, and Counseling Psychology, and for seven years served as a officer in the Navy and with the Marine Corps and later as Family Life Programs Manager, for the Air Force. His research includes design and implementation of an  early intervention study conducted by the Alzheimer’s Association with a grant from the National Institute on Aging (2009),  site manager for a study of a nutritional product for Alzheimer’s for Foster Labs of Canada (2010).  And site manager for a University of Massachusettes-Lowell Phase II clinical trial of a Nutriceutical formulation for Alzheimer’s (2011-12 now in press). He is a personal coach for Innovations in Population Health Management, as well as a Director and consultant for Advanced Memory Dynamics – his own educational consulting company.
